RELEASE: AUGUST 2024

This exciting partnership brings together the unique strengths of both New York brands, resulting in a capsule collection that features three models, each available in three distinct fabrications.

Fabrications by Engineered Garments: Daiki Suzuki, the designer of Engineered Garments, personally handpicked three innovative fabrications from his FW24 collection to incorporate into BIP’s most iconic models. These fabrics include Black Vegan Suede, Black Quilted Vegan Leather, and gorgeous Leopard-Print Double-Faced Nylon.

Three models by BAGSINPROGRESS: These special fabrics were applied to three of BIP’s most iconic and long-selling models. Typically crafted from nylon canvas, these styles have undergone an exciting transformation through the use of unique materials selected by Engineered Garments, resulting in further elevated products. Details of each model are provided at the end of this release.

Product availability: These collaboration products are available exclusively at Nepenthes stores in Japan, London, New York, and the new Los Angeles location, which is set to open at the end of this month. They are also available online through BIP’s website.

BIPのロングセラー「Carry-all Beach Bag」を、アメリカ製のサンフォージャーコットンダック生地(120zコットン 100%)で作った別注アイテム。この生地はテントやヨットの帆などに用いられるため、通気性、堅牢度が高く、さらにボートシュリンク加工が施されているので防カビ・撥水性もあり、日本の高温多湿の気候にマッチしています。

Custom-made in American San Forger Cotton Duck Fabric (12oz Cotton 100%) this fabric is often used in tents and yachts, remaining breathable, mold resistant and waterproof - equipt for high humidity to match Japan's high-temperature climate.

east pacific trade x  Urban Outfitters

RELEASE: APRIL 2024

east pacific trade collaborate with Urban Outfitters in a London-centric campaign directed by photograpaher and director, Tayler Prince-Fraser.

Located across London’s landmark areas, from Brick Lane to Oxford Circus, locations were meticulously planned to sit within the city’s shopping and creative hubs.

Battenwear x  Otakara NYC

RELEASE: DECEMBER 2023

Otakara took several favourite items from the Battenwear Fall/Winter 2023 and sent them to good friend, Satoshi Suzuki to do his hand-embroidered magic.

Many will remember Otakara and Satoshi from their tenth anniversary collaboration and one - off hand stitched Engineered Garments items available at Nepenthes New York garment district flagship store.

Each item in this project is one-of-a-kind. For those of you who don’t speak Japanese, Otakara means “treasure” and that is indeed what we have here.

RELEASE: FALL / WINTER 2017

Woolrich John Rich and Bros. released a quintessential collection of bags and accessories for Holiday 2017 made in collaboration with New York City designer Chiharu Hayashi, founder of Bags In Progress. Using archival wool from Woolrich’s world-renowned Woolen Mill, one of the oldest mills in America, the capsule collection was part of The Woolrich Project and featured two reversible totes, a convertible clutch, a pillow, and a blanket.
